Novelleo is a design atelier dedicated to sculptural essentials, radical material research, and objects that resonate beyond their time.
Origins: born from a
void of meaning.
Founded in 2023 by designer and materials researcher Elena Voss, Novelleo emerged from a simple belief: in an age of mass production, people crave artifacts with memory, texture, and intention. Our first studio — a converted warehouse in Los Angeles — became a laboratory for merging biopolymers, recycled aerospace alloys, and sculptural silhouettes.
What started as a capsule of 50 hand-formed vessels is now a global collective of architects, ceramicists, and digital futurists. Each piece carries a unique identifier and is designed to be kept for generations, not seasons.

We reject planned obsolescence. Every Novelleo artifact is crafted using low-waste 3D printing, reclaimed metals, and bio-based resins that are 70% plant-derived. Our packaging is 100% compostable and we offset 2x the carbon of every shipment.
In 2025, we launched the “Orbit Circular Program” — customers may return worn pieces to be remolded into new editions, earning credit toward future drops. It’s our commitment to a closed-loop future.

Our team spans Los Angeles, Kyoto, and Berlin — a fluid network of industrial designers, sound artists, and material scientists. We gather twice a year for “resonance labs”, experimenting with novel textures, acoustic properties, and interactive surfaces.
Unlike traditional brands, we release only four collections per year, each limited to 500 units or fewer. This scarcity isn't artificial — it's the natural result of hand-finishing each object and respecting our material limits.
